I dedicate this post to 7 Eleven today since it is 7/11!
I grew up with a 7 Eleven right down the street in my neighborhood & I loved it! My bus stop was right near it & I would walk there with friends all the time. I swear I must have bought candy & snacks there almost every day at certain points during my childhood.
The owner, Greg let me help stock his shelves with candy & in exchange he would give me a slurpee. We would trick or treat there on Halloween and he would give out little slurpees also. It was awesome growing up with a 7 Eleven so close!
Hot dogs, nachos, slurpees, sodas, candy, corn nuts...every kids dream!
Oh thank heaven for 7 Eleven!
