New American Idol Judges...Hmmmm....

I don't know what to think about this...

What do you think?  I think it's kinda weird!

I think American Idol might be going down the drain and with Simon's new show, "X Factor" coming out soon, people may follow Simon and watch that one.  I will watch both though!  I'm curious to see the new dynamic of A.I.

Scared of the Toilet...

...No, it's not Blakeley who is scared of the toilet!  It's me!

On the news the other day, they showed a HUGE snake that had crawled up the sewer pipe and into a lady's toilet!  When she went to the bathroom to go about her business, she had quite a surprise!

Now, every time I go to the bathroom, I look into the toilet and I'm freaked out that perhaps one day, I will be the one to find the scaly reptile in my toilet!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

P.S. I've also dreamed about snakes and flying mice lately (and that was before seeing that on the news).

Pregnancy = Crazy dreams!

Yay for Feel Good Moments!

Last night I decided to take Blakeley for a walk although it was starting to get dark and almost time to put B to bed.  I figured I would just walk up and down the street a couple times so it would just be a short walk.  I just felt like getting out of the house since I've literally barely left the house since coming home from Cali because I feel so sick and crappy.

So up and down the street we went a couple times and then I saw a dog running around.  It looked like the dog in the picture above.  I went up to it and it was really friendly.  It didn't have a tag on so I was worried about it being lost.  It was groomed, however, so I figured someone was missing it, although it had dried dirt all over it's legs.  I figured I'd feed it and keep it in my backyard until morning and then take it to the Humane Society.  I'm a sucker for animals...I love them.

It ran off though when I was about to put it in the backyard so I followed it down the street.  I saw someone in their driveway and asked if it was their dog.  They directed me to a house two doors down and said that the lady there would lose her dog pretty often and that maybe she shouldn't be a dog owner.  I went two doors down and it turned out to be the owner!  She said she had lost the dog TWO MONTHS ago!  She said her kids would be so happy to see the dog in the morning.

As I was walking away, I felt so good to have reunited the dog with it's owner.  Perhaps I had answered that family's prayers?  Isn't it amazing how the Lord uses us as tools in His hands to do the work here on Earth?  I would normally have never gone out that late at night and apparently, I was supposed to for a reason!  Isn't it great to be at the right place at the right time?

Yay for feel good moments!

Best Anniversary Present Ever!

Roses are red,
Violets are blue.
Guess who's on the way...?
BABY #2!!!

I was still in Cali when I found out and it was Tuesday night.  I was returning home to Texas on Friday.  I immediately decided that I wanted to wait to tell Tyson in person which meant I had to wait THREE WHOLE DAYS!  I'm horrible at keeping secrets from Tyson so it was pretty hard.  However, our 6th anniversary was the day after I was returning home so that factor made it a little easier because I figured it would be a cool surprise for that special occassion.  Good timing, right?

When I found out I was pregnant with Blakeley, Tyson was out of town in Atlanta for work and I told him over the phone.  It wasn't very special since I couldn't see his reaction.  That's the main reason I wanted to tell him in person this time.

Friends kept asking me, "So when are you going to have another one?" during those last few days in Cali and I just smiled inside and played it off like I didn't know!  Ha ha. It was soooo hard for me to keep it a secret from everyone I saw there those last few days...especially from my Mother-in-Law because I started feeling sick.

So Tyson picked me up from the airport on Friday night and after we put Blakeley to bed, I handed him a gift bag and told him to read the card first.

I had written the card and it stated the following:

Top 6 Highlights of Our Marriage
(6 since it was our 6 year anniversary)

6.  Participating in Muddy Buddy together  (It's an event at Disneyworld where, as a team, we biked, ran, and completed obstacle courses and at the end, you climb under a cargo net through a pit of mud.  Fun stuff)

5. Purchasing our first home together in Florida

4.  Our amazing honeymoon to Mexico...so much fun!

3.  Our amazing wedding day and how special it was to be sealed in the temple

2.  The birth of our little Sunshine, Blakeley Jewel

On the back, the card said:

1.  The look on your face when you find out on our 6th anniversary that we're having another baby!

Inside the gift bag were two pee tests.  Great gift, eh?

So that's pretty exciting news. I had a dream that it was a boy so that's what I think it's going to be!  I had that same dream with Blakeley that she was a girl and it was right so I'm betting it's a boy.  I guess we'll just have to wait and see!

P.S.  I highly recommend the pregnancy tests at the dollar store.  Super cheap and they work just as well!
